Global Information Network review: fifteen years inside

I joined GIN at the end of 2010. I was a level six member when the founder went to prison, I stayed, and I was in the room when he came back. This is what the club is, what it costs, and who I would and would not tell to join.

The verdict first

GIN is the foundation of how I live and work, and it has been since 2010. It is not for everybody, and I say exactly who it is not for further down. For the person it fits, there is nothing better.

What you are actually buying

The club is built around the training Kevin says came to him through The Brotherhood. Your Wish Is Your Command is the opening of that training. GIN is the rest of it, delivered in levels, with a membership of people working the same material.

Membership gives you two courses, and you work them at the same time. The Success Mastery Course is audio training for levels one through five, done at home, with a test at level five. From level six the Success Mastery training is in person. The Science of Personal Mastery Course is written: modular lessons with assignments and drills, done at your own pace.

On top of the courses, the entry level includes all thirty Dream Processes, all thirty Leadership Processes, and all thirty Communication Processes at no charge — each set carries a $90,000 stated value — plus a free ticket to an in-person quarterly Major Event, free monthly chapter meetings, and training on the 5-Point GIN Success System.

What it costs

$1,650 to join: a $1,500 initiation and your first month's $150. Then $150 a month for as long as you stay, and you can cancel anytime from the member portal. Major Events run $1,000 to $3,000 each. You get one free when you join, and the early-bird pricing takes a real amount off the rest. The costs of the higher levels are confidential to members.

How the levels work

Levels one through eight are released. Level nine opens this fall, and I will be at Level 9, Part 1. The published intention is twelve levels. Through level five everything is done at home. From level six up the training is in person and experiential, and that is as far as I can describe it — the rest is for members.

The events and the chapters

Major Events are quarterly. There is a virtual option over Zoom, and I would still tell you to go in person. Three of the events carry the included processes: Dream Weekend, Leadership Weekend, and Family Reunion Weekend. Chapters meet monthly, in cities all over the world, and there are virtual chapters if none is near you.

The years Kevin was gone

I was at the first Major Event Kevin was not allowed to attend, after the receivership. It was hard. We were all a little sad, and you could watch a new leadership forming in the room to take over. I never doubted that GIN would survive and come out better than before, and I was prepared for a long cycle. Not everybody was. I was a full level six member by then — I believe there were fewer than a hundred of us in the club at that level — and that gives you a long-term point of view. I was not afraid of what was going to happen.

It was a long cycle. The club changed hands a few times, and some of the leadership was better than others. People left, on a lot of different grounds, but mostly because they felt Kevin was the source of the material and nobody else could replicate that. I leaned that way myself.

What I had that most people did not was Kevin's handwriting in my mailbox. While he was in prison we wrote back and forth, multiple times. I was going through a hard stretch of my own, and he took the time to write me personally, at his own expense for postage and materials, with keen guidance on what I was dealing with and how to handle it. He did not have to do that. It told me everything about who he is, and it kept me connected to him no matter what the leadership of the club was doing at the time.

When he came back

The first event after his release he did by video, at The Mirage in Las Vegas. I was so happy to see him. Then he came back to the events in person. He produced Level Eight in person, and I was at the recording for parts of it.

His imprint on the group came back fast. The driving engine of the club was back in it. That pushed out some people who had preferred the leadership that stood in for him. For those of us who had been around a long time, it was a thrill. I do not think of it as a long wait paying off. Things unraveled the way they had to unravel, and then he was back.

Who does well here

The people who thrive are teachable, first. And they are already doing okay in life. They are not in an emergency. They have a job, maybe a family, things are generally fine, and they want better. There is a saying in Freemasonry: we take good men and make them better. GIN is the same. It is there to help the able become more able.

The mistake new members make

They expect everything to be handed to them. They think that because they joined and showed up at an event, other members owe them free coaching and business opportunities — that they paid to get in the door and heaven's gates open. It does not work that way. You have to become the kind of person other members want to associate with. You make relationships and build them over years. You work the training between events. You become successful, and successful people want to know you.

Who should stay out

If the free training does not resonate with you, GIN will not change that. The club is that material at higher intensity, among people who love it.

If $150 a month would put you under financial pressure, wait. The club exists to help the able become more able. Come in when the dues are comfortable.

If you are broke, desperate, or needy, or you carry a sense of entitlement or a sense that life has wronged you, do not join. I have watched those people come in for fifteen years. They fizzle out fast, and they leave feeling ripped off. It would not have mattered what they joined.

If you want validation or approval from Kevin or from other members, this is the wrong room. Nobody here is going to do the work for you.
